Gift Guide: For munchkins (Part II)

Today's second instalment of Christmas gift ideas for kiddos is inspired by all the things I love about children: creativity, curiosity, and a fearlessness with which they approach the world that many, if not most, of us lose by the time adulthood comes around. I believe in nurturing little ones' inquisitive minds with the toys and games we give them, a mission accomplished with any of the suggestions below.

1. Fisher Price Camera, $10 Sale
2. Seedling Outdoor Explorer Kit, $45
3. Anthropologie Soldier Bowling Kit, $78
4. Melissa & Doug Deluxe Stamp Set, $15
5. Blabla Kids Classic BlaBla, $48
6. Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats, $17

*I should note that while the first instlament of kids' gift ideas were all pink and frilly, and today's are less on the 'feminine' side, I think any and all of the items in both instalments would be perfectly suited to any little munchkin, male or female. Girls can collect bugs too, right?

Sign me up! I'm fortunate enough to have two little girlies to shower with all things pretty, my gorgeous little nieces, and I would be happy to wrap up any of the items below for them this Christmas.

Gift Guide: For the ladies

Today's collection of gift ideas are for those very special women in your life. You know who they are - moms, sisters, girlfriends, best-friends-who-feel-like-sisters, moms-who-feel-like-your-best-friend. It gets easy as we get older to let others (e.g. partners, children) take priority over these incredible females, to forget to tell, and show, them how very grateful we are to have them. While I think a sparkly homemade card or jar of Christmas cookies are perfect ways to send such a message, for that woman who deserves a bit of an extra splurge this year, the list of suggestions below are guaranteed to be as elegant and special as she is.

1. Heath Ceramics Tableware Collection, prices vary
2. ToyWatch Plasteramic White Crystal Watch, $295
3. Juicy Couture Winter Rose Flannel Boxer, $48
4. Dolce & Gabbana Classic Cream Lipstick in Cosmopolitan, $32
5. Malin + Goetz Peppermint Shampoo & Cilantro Conditioner, $22 each
6. Kate Spade Cheers Necklace, $78
7. Polaroid Grey Label GL10 Instant Mobile Printer, $133 Sale
8. Ikea Idgran Flinga Throw, $15
